We’re excited to welcome Matthew Berry, Thierry Léger and Carson Tagoona to the Tarquti team! Each brings unique expertise that will strengthen our mission to accelerate the community-led green energy transition for Nunavik.
Matthew Berry steps in as Financial and Accounting Analyst. A CPA with close to 20 years of experience in financial reporting and tax planning, Matthew brings a strong background in auditing and advisory services. His arrival supports Tarquti’s growth and needs for in-house administrative and reporting operations.
Thierry Léger joins us as Wind Energy Senior Project Manager. With over 20 years of experience in renewable energy, including leadership roles at General Electric (GE), Thierry has managed the implementation of 40 major wind projects across North America and was the operation and maintenance Director for Canada, at GE. His technical expertise and project leadership will be key as we prepare for the construction of the Quaqtaq and Puvirnituq renewable energy projects. Thierry is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
Carson Tagoona joins as Director of Strategic Communications. Formerly Director of Communications at Makivvik, Carson has led the development of innovative communication initiatives that strengthened community awareness and organizational outreach. His experience will help in amplifying Tarquti’s voice and communicating our initiatives across Nunavik’s communities.
