Nunavik Interest Towards Clean Energy Transition Take the survey now!
Situated at the northwest extremity of Nunavik, Ivujivik is located where Hudson’s Bay meets Hudson Strait. The strong currents found here make it a rich environment in marine fauna not to mention the large bird colonies and the abundance of marine mammals.
At the moment, the community of Ivujivik appears to be interested to learn more about clean energy solutions to reimagine a future without the need for diesel. In the coming years, Tarquti is hoping to accompany Ivujivik’s local entities to create a Community Energy Plan and build an Energy Team composed of a Community Energy Champion.
