Nunavik Interest Towards Clean Energy Transition Take the survey now!

Tasiujaq is a village of 230 people located on the shores of Leaf Bay near the Ungava Bay, about 1900 km north of Montreal. Its name means “which resembles a lake” in Inuktitut.

At the moment, the community of Tasiujaq appears to be interested to learn more about clean energy solutions to reimagine a future without the need for diesel. In the coming years, Tarquti is hoping to accompany Tasiujaq’s local entities to create a Community Energy Plan and build an Energy Team composed of a Community Energy Champion.
