Technician/Project Manager in Electromechanics

Under the supervision of the Project Development Director, the Technician/Project Manager in Electromechanics will work closely with the project management team to plan, coordinate and support the development of renewable energy projects.

The candidate shall have strong project management skills and will be responsible for the technical and organizational management of activities in Nunavik communities. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Montreal, but the candidate must be available for short trips to Nunavik to ensure the smooth operation of project development assets and activities.

  • Diploma of college studies (DEC) or Attestation of college studies (AEC) or Bachelor of engineering.
  • 1 to 3 years of technical experience in the energy or construction sector.
  • 1 to 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the energy or construction sector.
  • Effective skills in project management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication competencies.
  • Strong ability to maintain positive and effective interpersonal and working relationships.
  • Experience creating and managing project schedules, budgets and resources.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, project management software and planning tools.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding and respect for Inuit culture, values ​​and ways of knowing.
  • Solid planning, organization and deployment skills.
  • Strong interest in renewable energy transition.
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English (knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset).
