Tarquti Energy is proud to announce the addition of an experienced energy industry advisor and commercial senior leader to its team, Ms. Amina Kherbouche. Amina officially joined Tarquti on August 21, 2023, on the first day of Sillitik, the first clean energy symposium in Nunavik taking place in Inukjuak, Québec.

Over the last decade, she has honed her expertise as a strategic advisor for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and key partnerships. Her skillset encompasses negotiating complex commercial agreements involving industry-specific legal and operational considerations and collaboration with industry stakeholders. Her involvement in project development serves to optimize the value of operational assets, all the while meticulously overseeing operational and financial metrics through rigorous risk management and compliance reviews.
“Amina will play a key strategic role at Tarquti in the development of clean energy projects in Nunavik. A participative, creative and solution-driven leader, Amina has substantial expertise in governance, risk and asset management, negotiation and operational structuring within the renewable energy sector. Her extensive experience will be invaluable in building meaningful projects for the benefit of Inuit communities.”

“I am thrilled to join an organization created to consciously, systematically and sustainably prioritize local communities’ needs with the ambition of helping harbour dreams of a better future for Nunavimmiut. Being at the forefront of innovation and creativity is both grounding and gratifying: I can’t imagine a better vector than Tarquti to reshape clean energy production, storage, transportation and distribution in cold climates while promoting sustainable community-led in remote regions.”
